My son is doing less and less work at school. He knows what to do, can verbalise it but stops at the writing and reading. His TA thinks it is behavioural!! When I ask my son he says I write slow because it's not fun. He is 8. #parentadvice #autism #adhd #pdaautism #failingourkids

Today I witnessed a child being dragged to class by two teachers because he was anxious about school. He got himself in such a state that he was refusing to budge. This can't be right. I can't stop thinking about it, it upsets me so much... #anxietyinchildren #AutismAwareness

Is it just me, or do a lot of the characters in #worldsworstchildren describe neurodiverse children? Perhaps I'm just too sensitive! My son loves the books, but I can't help feeling that they're sending out a message that different children are bad! #adhd #neuridiversity #autism

So, on Monday at the ripe age of 42, I was diagnosed with ADHD. I've suspected it ever since I started researching into ADHD for my son. Now I know it, I don't know what to do with it?? #adhdwoman #adhd #adhdawareness #

So back to square one with getting an ADHD assessment. The lady at the referral team said, if you had ADHD it would have been picked up at school. Nooooooo #adhd #adhdwomen #innattentiveadhd

So, after convincing myself that my son has ADHD, I have since discovered #pda He may have ADHD too, but PDA describes my son perfectly... Now to get someone to believe me... #pda #pdaautism #adhd #autism
