New Year's Resolution: Review and test all backup systems. Why: Exactly 1 hour into the new year we lost two drives of a redundant (RAID) hard drive array practically simultaneously. Thankfully this was only on a test environment which was recently backed up.

Norgate Data has released capabilities to backtest on the Nasdaq Biotechnology Index ($NBI) historical index constituents back to May 2001, giving a universe of 549 securities. There are currently 198 stocks in the index.

Norgate Data has released capabilities to backtest on the Nasdaq Q-50 (this is approximately the Nasdaq "101-150" index) back to Oct 2007, and also constituents for newly-created Nasdaq Next Generation 100 Index (i.e approximately the Nasdaq "101-200").
