The All-Mart. Nothing, Arizona. Pop 4. Final victim of the Zombie Apocalypse. Las 2 chicas, Alejandra and Guadelupe, made humanity’s last stand here--frying 14 zombies with the microwave while chugging sports drinks. Others say they escaped to the hills. We can only hope.

I composited a photo of this tank into a Middle Eastern battle scene. It is a Chinese copy of a Soviet T-54A tank; sold to Iraq; captured in Desert Storm; brought to idyllic Washington state; and then cast in my film. If only objects could speak. #tank #desertstorm #iraq

My father was in Syria before the current conflict. I composited his photo of the Roman Aphamia Antioch Gate to the right. Our collaboration made me closer to the story. I lost my father to cancer in 2010; many in Syria have lost their fathers to war. #syria #cancer #romanruin

In my background is my "artist's concept" of an asteroid strike on the moon. One theory is that when our solar system formed it was bombarded with asteroids. In Hindu philosophy Shiva, the destroyer, is sometimes associated with creativity. Destroying the old reveals the new.

Survival is a theme of “The Oracle.” A reference was the film “Castaway,” with Tom Hanks, filmed on Monuriki Island in Fiji. I was fortunate to visit last year (photo from drone). You could survive there–only have to drink coconut water 24/7. #bula #fiji #castaway
