#PBFR is sending an engine and 5 team members as part of a Strike Team to north Florida today to assist in Hurricane #Idalia disaster response. We are #PalmBayProud to assist in disaster response outside of our city and serve other communities within the state of Florida.

Members of @PBFR recently completed a training exercise called Swift Assisted Victim Extraction which combines law enforcement and fire personnel into a Rescue Task Force that can rapidly assess, treat, and extract critically wounded victims in an active shooter situation.

PBFR attending the Chamber of Commerce Luncheon where we are displaying the 2020 Palm Bay Fire Rescue Calendars with Dawn Bittar. The proceeds from the calendars will all go to the “Candlelighters of Brevard”. Thank you “Promise in Brevard” for hosting us.

**HAPPENING NOW** PBFR crews on scene of a 3rd story apartment fire in the area of the 700 block of Wild Strawberry Ln NE. 3 burn victims (1 pediatric) assisted from the structure and being treated. Fire is under control.
