Some gravity-defying vegetation in a procgen test today that looked cool enough to share. The actual worlds won't look exactly like this, but this does give a pretty solid clue as to what you can expect. #voxels
@ProgrammerLin @gavanw you're getting some insane levels of detail now :O how's the performance looking? it's looking amazing nonetheless
@ProgrammerLin Could your engine at it's current level handle let's say... high speed anime fights that cover miles in a second as some dude got smashed into a far away mountain?
@ProgrammerLin Increase saturation of colors to the levels from more blocky versions of the engine. This looks dull and boring whereas the previous versions looks cheerful and happy.
@ProgrammerLin bruh i saw this and thought it was some dank ass kush wtf
@ProgrammerLin What’s specs are you running this on? Am I gonna have to get an rtx card to get decent performance once you release it 😭
@ProgrammerLin This looks so dynamic and real I was sorta expected wooshing sound effects. Very nice.
@ProgrammerLin Looks amazing, a bit hard to see precisely what's happening due to video compression
@ProgrammerLin That could be cool if you ever needed to replace the vegetation with something weird/corruption based!
@ProgrammerLin I can't wait to trow money at you, this looks amaizing, i don't understand how you can have so many voxels running at the same time, you're amaizing
@ProgrammerLin I know very little about the technical side of your work but I've been following for a while and I just want to say how excited I am for this project and how amazed I am constantly by your work, definitely ready to throw some money at you if you plan on releasing this eventually
@ProgrammerLin This is fantastic stuff. Love watching the progress.
@ProgrammerLin are those wind animations physic based or made with keyframes?
@ProgrammerLin Love your work! Do you know the paper "The SGGX Microflake Distribution" by Eric Heitz? Thought this might be a great PBR material fit for your engine because it allows "mipmapping" detailed geometry into material properties (section 'Linear Prefiltering').
@ProgrammerLin You know what they'd ask if you put them in a loop? "Why are you Loopin' us?!" I'll show myself the door.
@ProgrammerLin How much RAM does this scene take to run?
