The fifth biannual In Honor of Hunter McCoy Blood Drive is scheduled from 9 am to 2 pm on Friday, November 3 at the North East VFW 6027, located at 815 Turkey Point Rd, North East, MD 21901. Currently, half of the 64 appointments have been filled, so we have room for you.

On Halloween 2 years ago, Dominic was diagnosed with leukemia. He’s undergone more than 700 days of treatment since, including chemo & blood transfusions. His mom said the donated blood was a gift that helped him feel better. Support patients like Dominic: rcblood.org/appt

Roslyn Whitehurst has been saving lives for over 25 years, first donating with us in 1998. This February, she made her 112th donation -- the equivalent of 14 gallons of whole blood! As a “special antigen neg donor,” Roslyn's blood has been critical for sickle cell patients.
