Today I learned... The white man in this photo was Peter Norman from Australia who finished 2nd the 1968 200m final. Norman stood in solidarity with the American Black athletes. It was Norman who suggested, when discovered they only had 1 pair of gloves, to each wear one. (cont)

Just finished Wild Wild Country on Netflix. I bet people in the 80’s were thinking, “Wow, what a time to be alive”, like I’m thinking it nowadays. Fascinating stuff. Now to go read Osho quotes.
