To help veterans falling on challenging times, the @PADMVA administers the Veterans Temporary Assistance (VTA) Program. The VTA provides up to $1,600 in temporary financial assistance over a 12-month period to veterans and their beneficiaries for life’s basic necessities.

Today, we remember the brave souls of D-Day whose courage helped secure the freedoms we enjoy every day. Their sacrifice reminds us to stand united and work for a better future—here in Pennsylvania and beyond. Let’s honor their legacy by living with purpose and commitment.

I'm so excited that the @PADeptofEd has approved ending receivership for the Harrisburg School District. The kids who live in Harrisburg deserve the same resources as every other child in the commonwealth and this is a step in the right direction.
