Peace, 35, lives with three of her seven children at the edge of a polluted beach filled by plastic bottles and garbage. SOS Villages Ghana will equip Peace with parenting and entrepreneurship skills, so she is able to properly care for her children and run a business.
Education is a key social and cultural right and plays an important role in reducing poverty and child labour. SOS Children’s Villages child-centred education addresses children’s individual needs and help develop life skills, foster employability or entrepreneurship.

Over the last 70 years, SOS Children’s Villages has supported 4 million children through alternative care and family strengthening. Most individuals significantly improved their chances of happiness in life and are able to contribute positively to their communities.
An estimated 35 million children across MENA are in need of assistance due to recent conflicts, civil unrest and political instability. SOS Children’s Villages launches the #iseeyou campaign to raise awareness about these children, their needs and rights.
