@fifaindiaorg @in_morningstar should work along all industry representatives & #mutualfund industry has reached up to this level because of the efforts of IFAs/ MFDs. FIFA is the body of IFAs/ MFDs with no vested agenda. @bsindia @ETNOWlive @thetribunechd @cafemutual @wealthforum_tv

The view of Morningstar which prefers an unbundled expense structure should not bias its Study on Investor Experience on Mutual Fund Fees ... Investor Experience has to be judged based on total cost that investor incurs ...Clearly the report is conflicted and not Independant

On a total cost basis - Indian investors would be incurring amongst the least cost for investing in Funds - whereas Morningstar GFIE erroneously potrays it to be the highest

These and a number of anomalies were pointed by FIFA to Morningstar team and we had been assured that some of the anomalies would be taken care of in the 2019 report . Unfortunately none have been.

Obviously the charge is higher because of the embedded cost of financial advise . Mstar own report has indicate that retail Investors in US would be paying an extra 1% to 1.5% on account of platform changes and advisory fees . Pls make fair comparisons .

Also Fund management charges would decline with Size .. Size of the Indian Market is in Billions and US is in Trillions .. Ovver the last decade the US Active Funds In aggregate have not delivered Alpha while Indian Active Funds have delivered Alpha after “ 3 times higher cost”
