One letter names for generics are as bad a practice as one letter variable names. Think of generic types as functions accepting a type as an argument and returning a new type based on the input type (correct math term would be functor and object).

Tickle-down economics war schon immer stumpfe Propaganda, um Steuergeschenke an die Reichen zu verteilen. Es war niemals eine wissenschaftlich fundierte Theorie. Im Gegenteil es gibt gute (theoretische und statistische) Belege dafür, dass der Effekt nicht existiert.
