She's got the right idea...
I love the Daily Office — primarily Morning Prayer, but I’ve really fallen off the wagon with it as of late Long summer days keep the kids up late, which keeps my wife and I up later, and then it makes early mornings tough. Excuses, excuses… I know.
As with many that have had a similar trajectory as us, infant baptism is still a hurdle. I’ve studied the scriptures, read the books, listened to the lectures, etc, but I still can’t fully co-sign onto the idea. I appreciate much about it, but I’m just not there (yet?).
My wife and I made a choice several years ago to make the leap from the church tradition of our youth, and start attending a conservative, liturgical church, and we've been there ever since. We're both active in our parish, but neither can say we're fully Anglican in theology.
I felt the urge today to create an anonymous account so that I could more freely share thoughts online, as I'm somewhat private in general. I'm a Christian male, married w/ kids, living in Appalachia, attending an ACNA Anglican church. That's about enough info, I think.
