I can sometimes do comics/poetry in burnout but novels, absolutely not. And definitely not non-fiction either, burnout just takes way too much from you

It's interesting to see climate activists who aren't taking Covid seriously complaining about people not taking the climate crisis seriously. It's all connected; climate justice, disability justice, racial justice, etc. But so many don't seem to be cognizant of that reality.

We should be able to recognise autism in non-distressed, happy autistic children. They should not have to wait until they are burnt out and broken before they can be diagnosed.

Whenever someone interrupts an Autistic person, nobody flinches or thinks that the interruption is rude. It is seen as a natural course of events. But when an Autistic person interrupts someone, their behaviour is perceived as rude, awkward and inappropriate. It’s so strange!

I've been asked before why I tweet questions to my fellow #ActuallyAutistic folks instead of searching for resources myself. Well, I just googled to find autistic blogs, and the top result was Autism S****s and the second was an "autism parent" with a puzzle piece in the logo.
