What would be the best deck in standard if the “at least 4 non-basic cards from each legal expansion” rule was in play? I’ve always had a soft spot for the PT1 rule, and I wish variations would be used more (I understand why not from an audience perspective)
Andor S2 goes so hard in terms of world building, tone, and set & character design, I have no idea how this got greenlit by the same organization that did Rise of Skywalker (or pretty much anything recent SW-related). I hope they get the signals to continue this direction.
Not sure why this is a question, but I guess that the outcome could be different if the humans were Benalish Heroes and they were attacking or blocking in a Band

I’m literally buying Breaches right now for the Spotlight Series in Utrecht. I postponed doing it because the last thing I wanted to do was play this deck, but it basically seems like tournament malpractice to play anything but. Never felt worse about choosing a constructed deck.

Barely got there with a terrific Foundations sealed deck in the Arena Qualifier, but hopefully we can still run good tomorrow too!
I kind of hope when MTG: Foundations rotates out of Standard, a rival game company called “Warriors of the Interior”buys WotC and then force them to release MTG: Second Foundations, which is just the Reserved List reprinted.
Is this really necessary? (Opp. mulliganed both games). Also, I'm trying to guess what the second one is, but my Wheel of Fortune skills aren't up to scratch. #mtgosalt @MagicOnline can we try and get rid of this behavior?

As long as they keep putting a 5-color rare/mythic build-around in modern limited sets, they are guaranteed to get about 5-10 train wreck drafts from me trying to make it work. So, presuming I'm not an outlier, Marina Vendrell is the perfect design.
Current takes: Don’t mind UB in Standard, prefer fewer UB though (~33%?), would prefer IPs with better connection to fantasy/classical mythologies. 6 set standard yr is bad, but my guess is that they made UB/Std after they locked in IP agreements, so are stuck in the short term.
I know that there is keyword bloat in the game, but now cards have hidden keywords that are not even visible on the card!
