Towards the Global Action Week for education, it is key to teach children in school about their #environment. Encouraging recycling is a way of teaching them about sustainability. It also helps create responsible adults, with a better chance of having a decent planet to live on!
TATU Project has facilitated a series of training for a group of ''bodaboda'' drivers to be gender champions. Male members are key to advocating gender equality, breaking patriarchal systems, and addressing GBV at family and community levels. #vunjaukimya #endGBV #genderequality

It's Community Health Workers (CHWs) week. CHWs play a vital role in ensuring that communities, and schools, have access to the right information on health issues through seminars. Through partnerships, we have facilitated knowledge, skills, and resources to support their work.

The Afya (Health) program conducted training for the Community Health Workers (CHWs) focusing on diseases prevalent in the community in 2022. Afya is committed to fulfill the #SDGs 3 which commits the world to ensure “healthy lives and [promoting] well-being for all at all ages”

Last month, the Kilipad project conducted Menstrual Hygiene Management (MHM) training for teachers at Nzega Secondary School in Tabora. Teachers play a key role in providing information regarding MHM and puberty, Kilipad project is hoping to reach more schools with MHM seminars

Last week @TatuProject through Utaweza project held a meeting with the group of youth involved in motorbike activities "bodaboda" in Msitu wa Tembo led by Vijana champions. The aim is to provide awareness, encourage the concept of #genderequality and oppose Gender Based Violence.
Last week, the bicycle project celebrated the project exit in Msitu wa Tembo. Now the bicycle shop will continue with 5 members with support from the Kazi na Sala group and partner Global bike. Combining #Sustainability and #innovation, will support growth of the bicycle shop.
