Done reading about the history and evolution of Java. Very interesting stuff...especially when you learn about the portability and security attributes Java brings. Highly suggest learning about the language first before actually programming. Anyways, lets code! #Java #Programming

Spoke with a computer science graduate who is also a good friend of mine. He let me borrow his Java book, says its where all his Java knowledge came from. Bad news, bye to C++ for now... and hello to Java. Having an actual book to learn from is much nicer #CPP #Java #programming

'continue;' can be used to "hide code" under a certain condition. 'break;' can literally be used to break code (loops). 'return;' doesn't have to be written in loops like the above, can be used to end a function e.g. in the main() function, will end the program. hope I'm, right
While loops: while (condition) { //code here will run forever as long as condition is true }
If-Else statements: if (condition) //will run if condition is true else if (condition) //will run if the if statement at the beginning is false else //will run when all the above are false #CPP
For loops: for (variable declaration; condition; increment) { code; } The for loop will keep running as long as the condition is true. #CPP
Memory in debugging mode, pretty cool. Understanding this part really helps you appreciate what programming actually is.

Learning about variables. Apparently you can't address individual bits in memory, lowest you can go is bytes.
Learning about how compiling works in C++, there's a few extra steps before its done. Now... what the heck are headers... #inlcude <iostream>??
I have now mastered C++... I mean, take a look. Need I say more...
Found a free tutorial on YouTube by @TheCherno, takes you through how to set up Visual Studio, an IDE for C++, and the basics.
Came across a C++ training course on LinkedIn by @billweinman. Looks real good so far, great pace and easy to understand, hopefully it gives me a good overview of C++.
Starting my coding journey today! Maybe... just maybe... in a few years I'll be able to print "Hello World!" to the console. Gonna start my journey with C++, may switch or learn multiple at the same time, just want to get the gist of coding.
