I realised that most people never really loved Drake, the Canadian poet & musician. It was mostly admiration built on respect. And once the tumultuous episodes tarnished his brand, the admiration is gone, since there was no real "love" nor genuine attachment. The crowd moved on.

Asserting that "money doesn't make you happy" is equivalent to saying "misery or slavery doesn't make you unhappy". In a capitalistic paradigm, no money reduces one to a certain form of slavery, since they'll certainly end up giving up part of their freedom in exchange for money.
