Inverted urothelial papilloma #GUpath ➡️< 1% of urothelial neoplasms; benign ➡️Mostly in men between their 50s and 60s (M:F ratio: 5.8–7.3:1) ➡️Most common locations: bladder neck and trigone ➡️Endophytic, complex trabecular and anastomosing urothelial cords of normal thickness; peripheral palisading, central streaming ➡️No cytological atypia, although focal degenerative atypia may rarely be observed ➡️Frequent HRAS and KRAS mutations (PMID: 25097040, 30838648) 🧬🧬
