Biking to work and then home afterwards has been my solace the past few weeks. Work has felt never ending and the break between office and home has been amazing. Today I must’ve thrown too much power into the pedals… bike commuting on pause until fixed :(

Common courtesy in the men’s washroom at the office is when you hear someone wiping, you let them finish their business, wash their hands, exit the washroom before you make any noise indicating you are also departing the porcelain throne. No one wants to see each other in here.

After a week in San Diego, I think I’ve come to terms with the fact that Canada isn’t what it once was. The US, specifically California, just has the lifestyle and the vibe that feels like home to me now. Canada’s community and economy has gone down the drain drastically.

Feeling the urge to move to the home of our neighbours to the south 🇺🇸… Can’t help but feel like the 🇨🇦 government is doing everything in their capability to avoid keeping young folks here. Costs are too high, dollar is too weak, processes too long. Time to move on.

Looking for book recommendations in personal finance, real estate investing, entrepreneurship. I feel like as a 25 year old, not many of my peers are reading stuff like this but a lot of these books have some pretty key information. Psychology of Money changed everything for me.

Spoke to a friend who said he’s having trouble finding a job post grad. He asked what he can do to distinguish himself from others in the job market. Been telling him for years to look at doing internships, he never did one. Getting work experience during uni = so vital

THIS is what keeps me up at night. Our housing costs have shot up through the roof but incomes have not. Young Canadians 🇨🇦, how are you ever meant to buy a home? 2015-2024 especially not looking great either… thanks JT…
