Diagnosis is hard to determine for both mental and physical conditions. It's easy to sow confusion and fear. My approach is not to diagnose, but to help people learn how to process their held trauma and see what happens. Emotional capabilities grow, and change happens🔥

Is trauma survival or anti-survival? I often hear the same person talking about trauma that it's a survival mechanism, has a "lesson" attached to it AND the opposite that it attracts narcissists and other bad events one's way. I am in the anti-survival camp for the following…

In a older @DrMcFillin podcast #12 Sean says nose breathing helps to bring the lower lung lobes into use. Not necessarily true. Tensions introduced by trauma can radically affect where, and the depth we breathe, it sets a baseline that needs to be overridden by will.

In listening to a 2yr old podcast the speakers compared traumas, which, in the trauma field is a no-no. When a trauma is created from a immature mind, it will match the effects of the worst of traumas. The psych profession has improved a lot since then!
