I sincerely hope that the next federal government takes advantage of the situation in the U.S. & increases funding for research & post-secondary education. This is a rare opportunity & we can reverse the "brain drain" Canada has experienced over the last few decades.

Lest you think @fordnation's idea to restrict ON medical school enrollment to 🇨🇦 students will actually make a difference, per the @globeandmail: "In the 2022-23 academic year, 11 of the 3,732 seats at the province's 6 medical schools were occupied by [foreign] students" 🤷‍♀️
