I always thought it was just a polite, albeit sincere, southern saying, “call me if you need anything.” As unfortunate things happened in my life, I was a bit surprised, but incredibly comforted, at how many people really meant it. Have a blessed, be someone who means it, Sunday

JOften the issues of the day are so far off our radar that we just don't have the time or the mental / emotional space to accommodate them. It is only when they reach us directly, through family or friends, that they managed to penetrate our consciousness..
