Visual MOT is now free! (or at least the source code is, so other developers can create their own version of the app and build on it) Interestingly the DVSA look to be trialling camera based functionality in their own system too. ssims.co.uk/personal/blog/…

MOT Exemption needs removing or reviewing. I keep seeing people, especially on old Brit car groups, casually announcing they’ll be driving an old (and unknown) car to X location and how it’ll be ok because you don’t need an MOT anymore. (1/3) 🧵

Officers from #ForthValleyRP examined this vehicle in Denny on Sunday, after it had been in a collision. They found the reason why the front wheels didn't change direction when the steering wheel was turned. Have your vehicle serviced and inspected regularly. #RoadSafety

This vehicle came in for an MOT test recently when we discovered that it had a broken coil spring. We replaced the coil spring with a new one and the vehicle passed its MOT, meaning that the customer could get safely back onto the road. thefoundrygarage.co.uk/book-online/

DPF (diesel particulate filter bill House of Commons today). A single faulty filter produces the same amount of pollution as a 3 lane 360 mile long traffic jam! 2nd reading for a change to MOT rules in March.
