Great paper! not as strident as ours on LDL-C, but states: "The overwhelming associations ... between T2DM, metabolic syndrome & CVD suggest that reducing the burden of CVD will require a shift away from a focus on LDL-C & toward improving glycemic control & insulin sensitivity"
