I remember when @McDonaldsUK used to be quick. Place not that full, ordered at 11.26 took nearly twenty minutes for two kids happy meals. It’s just came 18 minutes later no even a sorry. Not great

Currently sat at Calais now 1hour 30 mins delay with @Irish_Ferries . Have 7 hour trip on other side been ok road since 10 French time or uk 9. Hoping they have good reason for big delays other companies on time.

Award for worst McDonald’s @McDonaldsUK is Peterbrough. Ours was order 39 by order 65 ours was still not ready. Manager says waiting on eggs. Took over 20 minutes. Then had to go back for milk. Then they had forgotten syrup for pancakes. Then they forgot to give us forks.

Out of interest if a motorhome has repairs that were 6K would that be recorded as a CAT N? Or not unless it made the whole thing unviable?

Well watched something other day about van prices are finally starting to drop. Car prices down, van prices down, caravan prices down but motorhomes don’t seem to be dropping much even though some been up a while.

Went to buy a van for us to use as car. 7.5k so said would out deposit down today. Check piece on website before I ring and put it up by 1k overnight. I dont pay dodgy dealers who do that so search continues.

Happy days. Noticed bulb had stopped working on car. Last time headlight bulb went on Volvo was about 50 quid to replace. This time Kia 5.99 so got the long life ones for £11 for two. Literally a 2 minute job.

There are some deals on caravans at present. A 2019 adria tamar for 12k appreciate not the biggest and we had some issues but that’s mad.

We might have found a vehicle to take us forward. It’s older being 2005 but will do for our mixed economy of holidaying. Friend pointed out 0 to 60 18 secs. Then thought motorhomes and caravans won’t have great 0 to 60. It won’t be used as daily. Would that worry you?

Jesus wept just seen @Media_CAMC club prices for pitch at nec show. 40 quid a night for effectively a car park. Shows how middle class caravanning is now. Please don’t pay those prices.

Has anyone ever thought of going abroad last minute? Years ago this used to be the way. Flights and even hotels don't seem to do deals any more. Just looked at site been to 730 Euro so guessing about 650. Go last week of holidays and it's 240 pounds. This for static caravan.

Gets to @LeShuttle early. For 10.24 train. Still not managed to get on. Been here since 9. Could have had breakfast in hotel instead sat here watching delay getting worse. Should compensate people with this delay. Will have been here nearly 3 hours by time we leave. Poor

A trip to France wouldn't be without our car having issues just before we go. I feel a bit ill about to be fair. So after all the hassle with it earlier in the year, new radiator etc it's leaking again and looks like it's coming from bottom corner of radiator.

Well this continued poor weather is why we won't holiday in the UK. It's been raining for two weeks up in the North East. Off to France soon so hopefully it's better weather there.
