I notice I whistle when coming around corners now so as to not startle her.

This is more stressful than any dinner rush I ever worked. Or lunch rushes, such as when your boss over the phone makes you fire your best worker before open so you have to prep and cook busy shift by yourself and the owner walks in and becomes unhappy, kind of stress.
Still odd hours. Some days up at 6 other 2am. Mostly checked out these days.
Her having her dog, a small 🐩 is so beneficial. It occupies her time and can keep her engaged somewhat. This whole situation I feel would be much different without her dog. #Alzheimer #dementia
Waking up at 1:30 for like a week now. She has decent mental clarity for her at this time. More so than when she sleeps in. Interesting. I can deal with weird hours if she has more clear time.
The asleep then wake-up zombie reach for things is always interesting. Happened today while at highway speeds. Like "Yup, this is my stop" and try to open the door.
Amazing the body uses 50 muscles to swallow. Makes eating challenging for now, future looms large.
Never been a morning person. Working those 6am open shifts as a chef/manager, how I miss those days. Hello 2:14am, you suck
