2020 - 2 days and $1K to make a POC "wow" "you should increase prices" "this could be a real business" "apply to YC" 2025 - 2 minutes and 93¢ to make a POC "it's so slow" "this API is unusable" "nice hobby project" "wrappers aren't businesses"

PSA: Your client side and server side can simultaneously be in different timezones. Client side *usually* defaults to the customer's local timezone, and server side is *usually* UTC. ALWAYS pick a timezone and standardize to it. You're welcome :)
The AGI race between OpenAI, Google, xAI etc. is highlighting something really key for me: your core IP (LLM quality) matters, but a great product experience (UIUX) is just as important. IMHO GPT5 was meh, but ChatGPT is still winning on a better product exp.
