I had some very productive meetings in Toronto with Premier @fordnation, Minister @PBethlenfalvy, and Minister @PaulCalandra. We talked about our shared priorities of building more homes faster, improving public safety, and delivering better roads and other infrastructure for Ottawa residents. Thank you to the Premier and our provincial partners for listening to our challenges and working together to find solutions that will benefit the people of Ottawa. I'm looking forward to welcoming the Premier to Ottawa later this month.
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra oh look the blind leading the blind. A meeting of the minds, not much of a meeting
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra The bureaucracy at the County and City level along with their paternalistic oversight and virtuous policies will continue to be a great drag to building more homes in ON. Reduce and remove these people whose jobs and careers depend on their being roadblocks.
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra Interesting how you refer to our beleaguered LRT construction project as “other infrastructure” while the province is threatening to cancel their Phase 3 funding contribution. Your priorities are clear, Mark.
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra so public transit wasn’t on the docket you know one of your campaign “promises”
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra Did you tell the Premier that Ottawa is in Ontario?
@_MarkSutcliffe @fordnation @PBethlenfalvy @PaulCalandra You know what's a lot cheaper and faster than building new units? Rent control.
