Love possesses a prophetic quality. It sees a future for a person they can't see. It foretells an elevated vision of who they can be. By relating to them according to their potential, love contributes to causing that future to occur. Prophesy love over people & see what happens.

The devil is a vocabulary thief. He steals sublime words and redefines them. "Love," for example, is a word of massive moral weight, but it has been reduced to a weak & fleeting feeling fixated on "me and my feelings." Na! Love is relational integrity centered outside of myself.
