A prominent researcher introduced me to autoregressive models ( not of tokens, but of diffusion blocks). Diffusion models have test time compute built in (for fixed length blocks). We can scale the diffusion side. Then we can also scale the auto regressive side. Interesting!!

Internet used to be read only webpages. Once we could write, everything changed (web 1.0 -> 2.0) Today LLMs mostly “read” from their training learnings. They don’t write and update their learnings yet. Once they do, everything will change Environments we raise AI in will matter

Hollyyyy shit. Grok-4 is gooood! A pretty complex bug to do with streamed audio chunks for inline transcriptions. Sonnet 4 thinking on @cursor_ai couldn’t figure it out for an hour (6-7 tries) Grok did it in one shot! Saved me 1 cent per minute from pipecat lol.

Wrote and trained AI using AI. I had to code and train a small language model for my hw that was due today. You are instructed to work on this for three weeks. I got it done using ai in one day. Gemini pro 2.5 is underrated. Feels surreal considering my slm has openai schema.
