@_halfspaces I feel like all of us who backed him 2020-22 have never changed our view of football and of arsenal. I feel like we’re reasonable, yes he’s taken us back to a good level but we’re regressing as team and we just want to win whilst we’re in this cycle of having a chance

@_halfspaces For them everyone else is culprit. Board is at fault for not backing him, SD is at fault, referees are against him, everyone is at fault and conspiring against Arteta. These people won't call out a single flaw of Arteta EVER.

Have a huge dislike for ppl who view football like this. Acting like a coach’s decisions are beyond reproach simply cos you yourself cannot provide adequate evidence to justify these decisions.

@_halfspaces @EBL2017 If we won titles and cups with this approach, fans would easily understand. How are we so married to a style that isn’t successful? Would Pep be so focused on OOP that he would bench KdB? It’s ridiculous. Liverpool had Szobosai as RB. They didn’t lose anything OOP.

I'm still trying to get my head around starting Merino in that Liverpool game. Like what's the point if you aren't going to play direct to him and instead use him in deep build-up where he's poor and gave away the ball multiple times. What did we gain?

Not a very high bar, but Hincapie easily becomes our best overlapping option in the squad even over Ben White. Allows MLS to play midfield and Calafiori LCB more as well.

This quote is honestly so bad. Him saying Kai couldn't play and not mentioning Eze. This tells me he wouldn't play Eze or Nwaneri over Kai in the #10 if all were fit in that game which says a lot. Shows the lack of bravery even more.

Isak signing isn’t as bad as some people are making it. They’re stockpiling talent in attack like we have in defense. Ekitike and Isak can play together. And it’s a perfect Salah succession plan when he inevitably leaves. Slot is also targeting a #6 next summer.

6th full season and guys are still trying to run the injury excuse, bad luck narrative, and we 'conceded off a wondergoal' whilst ignoring the lineup we put out and our approach. If the same thing keeps happening with a different set of players there's only one place to look.
