This quote is honestly so bad. Him saying Kai couldn't play and not mentioning Eze. This tells me he wouldn't play Eze or Nwaneri over Kai in the #10 if all were fit in that game which says a lot. Shows the lack of bravery even more.

@_halfspaces Eze only had 4 days of training and that position is really important leading the press which he might not be ready to do after 4 sessions. Ethan is still developing physically and might not be ready for anfield. I hated the line up too, but that happens with 4 starters injured
@_halfspaces Naw. Flawed take from you. Eze just came to the club. Nwaneri too bad oop
@_halfspaces In other words Nwaneri was 4th or most likely 5th choice for yesterdays role in attacking midfield
@_halfspaces Nah mate, Eze is new, Nwanari is a kid still, Merino performs well against Liverpool as like last year, showed hes up for the occasion, we were on top in the first half and should made the most of the isolation we created rather than nelli running with his down.
@_halfspaces He’s clearly assessing it from a tactical perspective, emphasising on balance of attack and defence with his team tactics, but you’ve somehow missed that.
@_halfspaces Im struggling with the lack of bravery narrative, if we started Ethan, took more risks at anfield, and got pumped 3-0 we’d be calling Arteta naive. The game was decided by a wonder goal. We limited them to 0.3xG at home, as the reigning champions. It was an even performance.
@_halfspaces Don’t you agree with this though? Even if you don’t, we’ll find out later in the season.

@_halfspaces In football, and in life generally, you don't necessarily pay attention to what people say. You mostly observe what they do instead. Whatever it is he says shouldn't even be getting to people this much.
@_halfspaces It’s to do with how Arteta sees the most advanced player in midfield needing to conduct the press OOP. Hence his use of Odegaard- Merino-Havertz, they’re his pressing lieutenants
@_halfspaces He's so disillusioned wid his pragmatism style that he'll never play maverick players like Eze in their natural position just because they may supercede tactics and think out the box like scoring long rangers, dribbling in tight spaces etc .sad for Eze
@_halfspaces In terms of leading the press, definitely it's odegaard, kai, Merino and jesus and that's what he prioritizes in that position
@_halfspaces Kai and Gyokeres 442 is not bad it’s not timid idea It’s just not one you would like
@_halfspaces Kai would have started over Gyokeres. That is his point, not the one that you have concocted out of thin air.
@_halfspaces Mikel won't win any trophy at arsenal, I have made peace with that
@_halfspaces Why would starting Gyo and Havertz together be considered a lack of bravery? When did playing a front two become a sign of weakness?
@_halfspaces Something I proper off with him and Nwaneri. It’s like he doesn’t truly rate him. It’s so fucking weird
@_halfspaces "bravery," if it didn't work, y'all would find something else to say been called foolish
@_halfspaces Keep imagining things in your head.
