This + the PCN DES for PSA screening is a bonkers approach to a screening programme. Either it's worth funding a REAL screening programme, or it's not (my understanding is that the evidence for asymptomatic PSA is mixed). Asking primary care to test >15 million men?

Is chronic Lyme a real thing? Probably. Does a private clinic offering to "rectify your Krebs cycle" make any sense at all? Financially speaking, absolutely.

In ST1 paediatrics I was being shown around during induction (casually dressed). I was the first to walk in. Nurse brandishing phlebotomy kit: "Just roll up your sleeve and sit down in here and we'll get on with it, you don't need numbing cream" Reader, she thought I was 14.
