I made one change at the beginning of August, and this is the MRR result. 📈🚀 The change? Paywall only includes 2 plans: weekly with 7 day free trial + lifetime purchase
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp I would run an experiment & check the Realized LTV per customer + Realized LTV per paying customer because here the MRR is “fake” (not sure you’ll do over 12 months). + test other combinations (weekly + yearly with trial, weekly with trial vs yearly). But you would need traffic.
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp So everyone buys weekly now? Otherwise it wouldn’t show up as MRR, right? Do you have churn numbers yet?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Pretty Chad maneuver
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp if you're down, can you share the specific paywalls before/after or the pricing and packaging before/after could be a ton of tricky things with that depending on how it's measure
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Woah! What were the original plans and pricing?
I've read some good things about weekly subs from Adapty's newsletters. I'm just below the ice right now. Can't wait to break thru. Do you know of a good tool or method to keep me on track while i figure out marketing? I feel lost. . . . Its 6am, its Friday, and I have the whole weekend free to build. What's my next step. I've wired the landing page to understand user behaviour - so now I need to test the landing page and see where users drop off? I've had one excited user sign up - but it's someone I knew from my childhood and haven't talked in twenty years or so. So it kinda counts but still - full validation will come from complete strangers. Is marketing my problem or do I need to release and iOS version? Should I just lock in and make an iOS version and then come back to marketing, or go 100% marketing for the next two weeks. So many options lol.
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Might be worth testing a 3-day trial variant, as @a_pustovidko hinted , your knack for experimentation could uncover a hidden edge here.
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Hm, but to have the same growth you need to increase users each month, cause if no new, in a month your curve will look totally different. I am scared a little bit of lifetime, sometimes it means that the owner is not sure about going more than one year with the product
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Very very interesting…weekly?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Have you tried 3 day free trial before?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Holy moly Lifetime works better than annual you think?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp so what does MRR means for your business? what about revenue grapgh?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp I want to see the same result to my ASO changes
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp Depends on the app. e.g. if the app is health/fitness/habit/mood tracker, the user doesn't plan on only using it for a week; they're thinking long-term, will invest accordingly. The plans should support that. Weekly would be a mistake.
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp If it is MRR, that is not including the lifetime sales you made, correct?
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp The MRR jump looks huge but a bit misleading. A weekly subscription looks 4x better than a monthly one when it comes down to MRR calculation. So the actual sustainable revenue is different. Still a great signal, you just need to track retention to see how much sticks.
@adam_swiftdev @zapshareapp What did you have before?
