why spend ten minutes watching a tutorial for how to solve a particular coding bug when you could watch the first 30 seconds, get impatient, spend the next hour throwing solutions at the wall, and then finally get your question answered by watching the rest of the tutorial 🤷‍♀️

The other thing that TDD helps with is thinking about the code you're about to write from the perspective of the client of that code. This helps you write more testable, usable, and maintainable APIs.

We really need to stop calling it TDD. Use Example-Guided Development—EGD (@tastapod’s term). Ppl who attack TDD because it’s not a good testing strategy don’t 'get' TDD. It is not a testing strategy at all. It’s a design/dev/build strategy, driven by examples expressed as tests.
