I’m not seeing any aurora at Black Mesa State Park, 10:58pm. Moon is almost half illuminated and lots of cloud cover. 3 cameras are rolling, we’ll keep trying.

Sprites over the Plevna, Kansas wedge tornado storm. Photo taken from North OK: 5/18/2025 at 10:19pm. Nikon D850, 4-seconds, 20mm, F2.8, ISO-6400 Straight out of camera, No Post Processing. I was time lapsing, and caught about 4 "Sprite Groups" during the timelapse.

5/18/25 "after tornado storm" near Sharon, OK We got to this storm after the tornadoes, but we enjoyed seeing it's beautifully tilted updraft and base, backlight by the late day sun. 7:01pm, highway 34 near Sharon, Oklahoma. 5-panel vertical pano, Nikon D850, 20mm, F5.6, ISO-200.

Early phase of the famous Eldorado, OK tornado from my vantage point. Sorry for the shaky video, I have a dash mount now. The tornado would go on to be rated an EF2, damage path was 6,000 feet wide for about 15 miles.weather.gov/oun/events-202… Nikon Z6II, 24-70 F2.8 lens. 5/23/24

4/4/25, 5:30pm near Opello, Arkansas. This storm is the one that came up from Hot Springs. After I filmed this wall cloud, the storm weakened and dissipated about 30 minutes later.
