Ever wondered what happened to Score Supermarkets? In 1999 Pick 'n Pay acquired a 50% stake in Score for R16m with an option to buy an additional 25%, or up to 75% of Score's shareholding. In 2007, PnP Group decided to convert the Score stores into Pick n' Pay and Boxer stores.
