Make an addition 3 (c) Immigration Act 2016 stating that gig-economy business were responsible 4 checks + maintaining checks on contractors as part of their duty-similar fines for non gig employers + requirement gig workers carry photo id while working to aid enforcement.

I’m not a fan of what the labour government is doing, far from a fan, but… #ivecriedatwork because… my work mattered, it was important work, emotions are human, decisions were hard, I made mistakes, I got things right. Let’s not demonise crying.

How can @Keir_Starmer and @UKLabour accept free concert, race, and football tickets, along with donations for clothes etc, and still feel justified in adding pressure andmaking life even more challenging for people with disabilities? Deeply troubling #lessinbenefitsthanfreebies

Government policy hey - so the point of the consultation is… to rubber stamp a government policy. A reaction to, rather than a solution for whatever Ofsted is or does.

As you arrive at work remember you don’t know who’s been up since 3am pondering whether life is worth it. If you can, check in with colleagues and pupils to make sure that they’re okay. #asktwice - and if you need support reach out.

my therapist wrote this out for me. it’s what I need to do every day. something mindful in the morning, self soothe at night time, and make sure I’m being compassionate to myself. also, practice one DBT skill per day. idk, I can try I guess!
