Just discovered that google docs shipped tab autocomplete. Not quite cursor like yet, but easy to imagine the underlying model getting faster, smarter and having a richer context. Big win

Still hard to believe that LLMs can be used for so much and yet much of what is written about architecture around them is how to make them answer questions better. Why is that the lens?

Am I missing something or can you not alter the system prompt via the assistant API? That seems limiting from a personalization perspective. Is the expectation that additional context data is provided via function calls and retrieval? @OfficialLoganK

When advising founders some ask, “how did you manage your stress at Twitch?” And like Herb, I didn’t because I liked the stress. If you don’t kinda like the stress, maybe don’t start a startup? I hate to say that but I don’t know how to help w the problem bc I never had it.

Is it just me or does chat.openai.com/chat?model=gpt… essentially not work anymore? Responses cut at random places or hang and there are no meaningful error messages

Had an Ooni Pro pizza oven damaged in a wind storm the other day. One of the pieces damaged was out of stock on the website. Incredible customer service from @OoniHQ to locate a replacement and send it to me free of charge.

Software should solve so many problems so when I encounter something it doesn't solve or solves poorly it's mildly infuriating. Like, why can't I budget *in* a given bank account?

Wife has called @AmericanAir 6 times, she's stayed on hold for ocer 7.5 hours, 4 times she asked for a callback and only once received 1, where they put her on hold for 20 minutes before she had to hang up at 9:35 pm....all to try and add a lap infant because you can't online.
