Federal Correctional Chaplains now have a contract with Corrections Services Canada for 3 months. The Chaplains currently working in institutions are dedicated to the work they do and hoping new contract starting in July is with a equitable stakeholder and contract supplier.

Federal Correctional Chaplains are committed to chaplaincy work and assisting individuals in the Federal institutions they work in with their religious practices. We have concerns about the continuity of pastoral care with ongoing covid restrictions, chaplaincy contract changes.
