I generally don't want government involved in industry affairs or subsidizing things, but when I see the depth of innovation in homebuilding and materials that just doesn't get traction because of slight cost differences it feels like a natural place for gov. to insert itself.

Not a political statement, an observation: 1. Americans are completely incapable of going through short term pain for potential long-term gain 2. The same Americans who rail on corporations for greed/focus on stock price are the loudest opponents to the stock market going down

I don’t know who needs to hear this but we need to build a ton more houses or we risk Gen Z checking out from life. Just so many young people think it’s not even worth trying for the American Dream. When the mean house price is over $400k, we got a problem.

This will be the last election that any viable candidate doesn’t go on All In, Rogan, Lex Friedman, etc. TBH, we could eliminate national debates if everything be just goes on long form podcasts.
