#dissociatwt I’ve seen lots of threads and resources on ideas to help little alters cope but a lot less information on helping teenage alters. If y’all could direct me to some helpful resources or comment what helps your teen alters cope it would be very much appreciated 💕

I think I'm a bit scared of Twitter but maybe it's just people in general. Spend a lifetime hiding in the shadows, it can be really hard to put yourself out there and invite criticism, ridicule, rejection.

People with DID do not need you to defend our honor by calling out teens who are "obviously faking" on TikTok or whatever. Anything that you say to put these allegedly fake systems down is just going to end up hurting way more real systems.

Last couple weeks, I've been coming to terms with being told by my therapist that I have distinct alters and that she has seen me switch in front of her. I suspected this for a while now but still... it's a lot to take in. #OSDD 1b probably
