One of my direct reports stumbled upon a glitch in our rating model that has possibly costed us millions in business over the past 3 years. I am going to spend my morning researching it and working up a report that will ultimately be ignored. Can't wait!!

The 55mm visa thing. I get that 77% are visitor/vacation visas but still leaves 12mm that are work visas. Maybe 75% are for the families of the workers. You're telling me there are 3mm jobs in the US that no person in the US is able to do?

To everyone that hates overly officious HOAs: spend a term as an HOA boardmember for a bit. You quickly realize all the rules are there because of someone wanting some special exception just for themselves and you have to hard-core enforce the rules otherwise chaos ensues.

If i were handing out executive orders: all kids shows must use real words with normal voice pitches. Shows that are based solely on random noises and quick cut scenes are banned. Old school cartoons get a pass.

Got the memo to basically stop doing a portion of my job the other day. Not in fear of losing my gig. Also, I dont fully love what I do. It's a job. HOWEVER, being told to stop doing a part of it is way more demoralizing than I thought it would be.

Went to Pinecrest in Orange village OH tonight for an early movie. Left at 7:30 and the police presence was nuts. Haven't been there that late in a long time. Apparently "youths" started creating issues in 2021. I give it 5 more years until the stores start shutting down.

We've got spectrum wirh the most basic TV bundle that isn't used. I called to cancel and get a cheaper deal. I just want internet. No can do. Have to have a mobile line as well. Never use phone, electronics waste. Still $49 cheaper per month. WTF.
