Antoine Semenyo is currently at a higher level than Rafael Leao. Semenyo presses better (+ with better intensity), he can act as a target man, he can carry over large distances, he can shoot with either foot, he should of been the no.1 target for Arsenal this summer.

Viktor Gyokeres is an interesting acquisition. — Not a target man — Not a box dominator — Not a link man Arteta has a lot of work to do, for a 27 year old. This is a striker who cannot yet use his size effectively (94kg/6ft2) and has no standout attributes except his goal tally

Odegaard takes the pressure out of a press - that is his role when we have the ball. A controller, not a mass chance creator or goalscorer. He sets the tone for the game, we play it as fast or slow as he decides, or we panic if he doesn't show.

Gabriel Martinelli thrives within the transitional movements, he can defend so deep and then explode up the pitch to be the out-ball. He’s Arsenal’s most important player in the big games, they don’t have a profile like him in attack.

Obsession with making him the LCM in this system (suits a #10 like MGW/Jude) seems strange to me? Myles’ attributes suit the exact zones he is influencing, coming inside from left back. This is one of the best players in the world in his position.
