This is all just a preview of what the situation can turn into. Take a look at Japan which now has its 30Y Government Bond yield above 3.20%. Not only have yields never been this high, but they are over 30 TIMES higher than 2019 levels. The market is crystal clear.

Meanwhile, with rate cuts just 2 weeks away, US Core inflation is back above 3% and on the rise. At 3% annual inflation, the US Dollar will lose over 25% of its purchasing power over the next 10 years. It has already lost ~25% since 2020, only compounding inflation.

The 80/20 rule makes good sense to me. My little bit of AI dabbling shows usefulness for research, critiquing, & other inquiry work, but I decline to use it for creative work, decisions, etc. So this thread is encouraging to me re navigating this new world we're entering 🎠~

The Fed is set to cut rates with Core CPI inflation ABOVE 3%. Since 1985, the Fed has only cut rates 1 time with Core CPI above 3% AND the 3m change was >0.3%: in 1990-1991. It's a great time to own assets. Follow us @KobeissiLetter for real time analysis as this develops.

In case you don’t realize what’s happening: The Fed is about to start cutting rates into stagflation. That means rate cuts into rising inflation with a weakening labor market. If you don’t own assets, you will be left in the dust.
