This seems like a band-aid solution to a much deeper problem within corporations. This ‘old boys’ club thrives because men know that they will not be punished for sexual harassment or bullying - there is endless paperwork, documentation by HR and the women (or men) who complain end up with their careers ruined. I guess an accurate insight into moral degradation within corporations can be viewed with a simple question: How many individuals in top roles got there by having relationships with powerful people in the company? If their (people in top positions) climb to corporate success was based on who they pleased rather than on merit or professionalism, they would encourage a culture where individuals must be pleased before being given opportunities or promotions.
