I've been playing Hitman (2016) for the last few days, and I feel I'm treating it like an adventure game. Pick up wrench. Throw wrench at security guard head. Hide body. Is pretty fun.

@adventurejam #GrogChat 1: The biggest challenge is scaling back features and scope as time goes on. It's THE most valuable skill for game jams I think. That doesn't mean suddenly removing stuff when there are 2 days left, but constantly re-scaling throughout the jam.

@adventurejam #GrogChat 5: The participants. A game jam is nothing without a good group of participants that are supportive of each other and all in it together. That's what makes it worthwhile.

A2 seeing how others structure their puzzles and tell their story. I also love how some of them had seemingly deep lore and it made me crave for more of the worlds #GrogChat

#GrogChat A4: yes and yes. Often an idea works on paper but when you actually work on it, it evolves. The ending for Nebraska Smith was born two days before the deadline. And he was meant to wear a shirt!
