Should #ruby-install 1.0.0 and #chruby 1.0.0 use XDG directories? (~/.cache/ and ~/.local/share/ instead of ~/src/ and ~/.rubies/)

Thinking about what else should go into #chruby 1.0.0, and wondering if additional before/after callback hooks should be added to places, or if that's an unnecessary feature.

So how does one do a pre-release with #homebrew? Eventually will need to release #chruby-1.0.0.pre/rc and get it to users.

For #chruby 1.0.0, I'm debating dynamically searching ~/.rubies/, /opt/rubies on each invocation instead of populating $RUBIES once and searching that. Users rarely install a new Ruby, but it is annoying to have to restart the shell or open a new tab after installing a new ruby.
