Something I still struggle with to this day. It leads to unnecessary panic and anxiety. Step back from the situation for a moment. Even better, take a walk or practice breathing exercises for 5 minutes. Then decide for yourself if this is actually a fire and proceed accordingly.

Meetings...you're there because someone thinks you're valuable. Show them your value by being prepared. - Ask for an agenda - Have a list of questions ready - Predict their questions and have answers - If you expect "how long will this take?", look at relevant code beforehand

Your manager IS overwhelmed. What can you lean into for them? - Manage a project from beginning to end - Be proactive in making your team happier - Organize whatever is unorganized You gain skills and exposure to other areas of the business. Your manager loves you.
