An accurate diagnosis is needed to get proper treatment, but can take years for many with chronic illness. This was me for 9 years until my diagnosis with #spondyloarthropathy With the right treatment, I went from bedridden with pain to living life comfortably. Never give up!

I think most of us who have chronic illness are depressed. Are you depressed because you are always sick or are you depressed because it is a side effect of your medicine / symptom of your disease?

@illandwell @ThePOTSPostman The fatigue part is so real. Yes, I’m literally this tired all the time. Every day. A couple of great nights sleep don’t get me ahead, they just keep me alive.
What's one thing you wish people without chronic illness understood about the daily struggles you face? For me, we don’t get to pick and choose what days we feel sick or get flare ups, it just happens when it happens.
Also, the moment I had several fulls out, I started noting that in my query when I saw other successful queries do that! Interest breeds interest. It’s just the way the world works for better or worse. I’ll share more tips in the coming weeks and make a blog #WritingCommmunity
I’m getting onboard the nudging an agent thread 💫💫💫 Nudge like a maniac. Shoot your shot. I’m serious. In the last weeks, I didn’t have any agent get upset for it AT ALL. Instead, they thanked me for the reminders on offers/fulls/deadlines. #WritingCommmunity
